I have collected this yarn for awhile and also wanted to try this hat pattern out and finally did it! I made the hat a little smaller than the one in the pattern, because it is for a 5 year old and it turned out great! The scarf is a simple garter stitch scarf, but with fringe! My first fringe ever, I'd like to add. The bag is from "Knitting Year Round", but turned out quite different than the photo, I think it might be big enough for jacks or marbles. Do kid's even play with these any more? Well, it certainly felt good to use up, almost, all of the yarn and these go in the closet to be stashed for the future. Now I am finishing a shawl and some dishcloths. Happy Friday!
