The last time I made cozies, I made ones that fit on both bottles and pints/coffee take out cups. That was fun...(note to self to label them as such next time.) The Brentwood Coffee Cuff is another double duty way to cuff it.

I am currently still trying to complete a few Christmas presents, as I got caught up in making my hubby and myself 5 scarfs, with one still on the needles. It was cold here and as a knitter I refused to buy a scarf at a store!

I started reading Free Range Knitter: The Yarn Harlot Writes Again, just one of the wonderful gifts I received, and it is a nice break from knitting!

Happy New Year!!!

old post...finally took the photos!

Beautiful morning in Seattle

If anyone reading this is in New York, Charles Burns has a exhibition at the Adam Baumgold Gallery. I wish I could go!

Over my Summer Vacation I discovered a Borders with a fantastic knitting section! I can not wait to start knitting something from one of my new books!
(This is of course after I lesson plan for the first 2 weeks of school.)

Twinkle's Big City Knits has amazingly stylish sweater patterns.
One Skein has a nice collection of quick projects. (I'm almost done with the kids cardigan.)
Debbie Bliss Home has beautiful items for the home and super chill wearables.
Fitted Knits has a guide so you can knit things that fit you well, and my first project will be the Bold and Bulky mini cardi. It seems like a natural progression from the Anthropologie Capelet that took up much of my summer.
Oh, right, here it is:

and I also knit up one for my mom using Caron Simply Soft for her sensitive skin:
