I am loving the Manos del Uruguay silk blends yarn I am making a scarf with right now. It is so easy to work with and so beautiful to look at while knitting. I have started purchasing more expensive yarn. I went to Jo-Ann Fabrics yesterday with ideas of inauguration knitting in my head and could not bring myself to purchase any yarn there. I think that this is a good shift, it seems like it is more expensive, but the end product is so much more beautiful. And handwashing is nice too...it makes you make the time to slow down and take care of your clothes.

Today I have 2 things on my mind; should I buy a vaccum cleaner? and do I want Denise interchangable knitting needles? I would have to drive to West Seattle to take care of these questions, meanwhile I need a hair dryer. We drove all over town yesterday running errands and by the time we got home we did not want to leave. So, the ones left are either up to me, or us when Topher gets home. We were hoping to do something more fun this afternoon. But, honestly, I love cleaning and we really need a vacuum cleaner, the hubby does not share my excitement.
